PHC Turf Saver (50lb box)

PHC Turf Saver (50 lb box) is a mycorrhizal fungi inoculant formulated for turf installations and maintenance. It contains a blend of VA mycorrhizal (VAM) fungi and rhizosphere bacteria selected for their beneficial activities in the rhizosphere of plants. PHC Turf Saver contains formononetin, a stimulant of VAM fungi to increase colonization rates of the grass roots.

• Introduces specific mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria

• Stimulates native and inoculated VAM fungal growth and colonization

Application Rates are as follows:

NEW TURF OR SOD INSTALLATION/CONSTRUCTION: Prior to seeding or sodding, spread PHC Turf Saver over the planting area at a rate of 22 pounds per 1000 square feet.  If sodding, lay sod directly over product.  Otherwise, rake or rototill product into the top 2 inches of soil prior to seeding or sprigging.  At this rate, the product delivers approximately 70 spores per square foot combined with formononetin, a stimulant of VAM fungi colonization.

ESTABLISHED TURF:

Aeration/Vertical Cutting: Application of PHC Turf Saver MUST be preceded by either aeration or vertical cutting in order to facilitate movement of product into turfgrass root zone.  Following aeration or vertical cutting, remove loose debris, and apply as directed below:

DRENCH: Apply Colonize T&O within 1 week following application of Turf Saver.
